Description
The five acres surrounding Millstone Manor have been in the family for over 75 years. Originally a potato farm, the family homestead still stands across the Millstone River, which runs just behind Millstone Manor.
The Bed & Breakfast property now enjoys a wonderful eco-system that includes a pond and abundant wildlife, thanks to Beaver immigration in the 1970s. So relax in one of the Adirondack chairs and watch the Canada Geese, Mallard Ducks, Blue Heron, Bald Eagles, otters, frogs, trout, painted turtles, deer and, of course, beaver!
This spacious 500-square-foot suite covers almost half a floor of our Cape Cod style home. It is furnished with antiques that reflect Nanaimo?s roots and Audrey & Steve?s heritage. From its private patio you can watch the resident wildlife of the Millstone Pond, and embrace the natural ambiance of the property. Although the suite can sleep up to four, we can help you turn your stay into a cozy get-away for one, or a romantic interlude for two!.
