Located close to Lac Boissonneault, Le Petit Havre offers a truly peaceful environment while still providing access to the lake. The cottage is set on a large and remarkably private property covering more than 2 acres. A wooded area crossed by a small stream provides children a special place to play, but adults will also find the spot refreshing. In addition to a patio and private all-season spa, a space is set up for guests to enjoy an outdoor fire in the evening. At two-minute walk away is a small lot along the lake, where you can put to water the canoe that we put at your disposal. This land only gives an access to put to water a rowing boat, but swimming is not possible there. A beach and a descent belonging to Camping des Baies are also near the cottage. A municipal access, where there is a park and picnic tables, is located on the other side of the lake, at 2 minutes by car. You will find at a 5-minute walk from the cottage, a private access to the Watopeka River. There is a plot of land that belongs to the cottage only. You will be able to relax there with the sound of the flow of the river and to bathe there. This river is mostly shallow, so it is excellent for walking and wading and splashing around. In some places, you will have water at your knees and sometimes to the hips when the river forms a small natural basin. Le Petit Havre can welcome up to 10 guests with all the charm of an ancestral home combined with the comfort of modern living. Much of the furniture is antique. Built in 2015, the cottage boasts a retro style complete with period stove and refrigerator. On the main level, pine floors and rough beams give the impression of having travelled back in time, while the wood stove keeps everyone’s feet warm.
